How will I know when my appointment is?
A text or email is sent when your appointment is booked. A confirmation is sent seven days to remind you of your upcoming appointment.
A second reminder is sent 48 hours beforehand of your appointment.
Please understand it is your responsibility to reschedule or cancel any appointment before 24 hours to avoid a cancellation or rescheduling fee.
What is abe’s cancelation policy?
We understand schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request, 24 hours notice, at a minimum, to modify appointments and avoid late change fees
Less than 24 hour notice to cancel will result in a fee equal to 50% of the reserved service
Less than 24 hour notice to reschedule will result in a rebooking fee up to 50% of service. A non-refundable deposit, up to $100, may be required before appointment is accepted by SALON abe
We require a credit card on file to reserve all future appointments. (It is not charged at the time of booking)
‘NO SHOWS’ will be charged a fee of 100% of the reserved appointment time. It is non-refundable and does not go towards future appointments.

How do I know what service I should book?
We wrote our service page in particular way so it is easier to decide which service best fits what you’re looking for.
Do I need to have a consultation if I’m a new client?
If you have sensitivities to color, questions about price, or have very long and thick hair we recommend booking a consultation to allow you.
They can be done virtually… but we recommend ‘in person’ because we may be able to take you immediately afterwards!
What is a patch test? Why would I need one?
A patch test is where our color is applied behind the ear 24 hours before an appointment to see if any reactions or sensitivities occur.
What color line do you use?

Why hasn’t my appointment been accepted? What does that mean?
All appointments are considered ‘pending’ until accepted, you will receive a notification. If you have questions about your ‘pending’ appointment call or text us 6129683499 or email us at hello@salonabe.com. We will get back to you as soon as we can! Typically within 1-2 business days.
What if SALON abe cancels my appointment?
We hope our stylists never have to cancel your appointment. Situations that are out of our control and we can’t reschedule in a timely manner you, will receive a small discount as an apology. We do our best to give you the same respect of 24 hours, at a minimum, notice to reschedule your appointment.
If the cancellation is due to situations such as: power outages, extreme weather conditions, bereavement, pandemics, or unfortunate incidence, etc… that requires SALON abe to be closed during regular business hours your appointment will be rescheduled in a timely manner.
What does “hair modeling” mean?
“Hair Model” appointments do not involve runway or promotional modeling. You are volunteering to receive hair services at a discounted price for the purpose of supporting the professional growth, technical development, and continued education of SALON abe’s next generation of hairstylists. New Talent stylists may have less than three years of professional experience behind the chair, this is not always the case. All participating stylists are properly licensed and have completed accredited cosmetology training in accordance with state requirements. Significant lightening, corrective color, tone adjustments, vivid colors, major transformations, or complex chemical services — may require multiple appointments to safely and responsibly reach the desired result. Results are not guaranteed in a single visit, and service plans may be adjusted based on the condition, integrity, and history of the hair. The number of sessions required will be exercised in the interest of maintaining the health and integrity of the hair, always.
